Turning Blind Eyes
How much longer will we continue turning a blind eye to the irresponsible driving of our local minibus taxis. These images were taken on my busride into my workshop from Mitchells Plain to Woodstock this morning.
Every holiday season people die from reckless minibus taxi driving, but obviously harsh warnings are not put out to curb their recklessness. When a passenger in one of these taxis we think: “awesome, drive faster so that I get to my destination faster” “oh look at those people sitting on slow traffic as we cruise on the yellow line, we are one up on them”.
Well people, this blindness is fatal.
